Are you looking to make a difference in your community? Hospice is a great way to give to back to those in a time of need.
McLaren Hospice is seeking compassionate and dedicated volunteers to help support our families in their individual experiences through hospice, with a focus on patient pets.
The Pet Piece of Mind program assists patients to help support there furry friends in need.
Activities may include:
- Walking a Pet
- Feeding a Pet
- Transporting a Pet to the Vet
- Marketing for the Program
- Helping to look for appropriate families to rehome a pet
Our office is located in Cheboygan, but we also serve patients in surrounding areas from the Eastern Upper Peninsula including the islands, to Indian River, Brutus, and more.
Perspective volunteers will need to complete an interview and onboarding process.
