ORGANIZATION: ElderHelp

ElderHelp clients live in their own homes in the community. Volunteers play a critical role in their clients' lives, supporting them with various tasks that allow them to remain independent and living with dignity.

Many volunteer opportunities are available depending on your interests and availability. They'll match you with a senior to help with tasks of your choice on an ongoing basis (every 2 weeks) such as grocery shopping, sorting mail & paperwork, home safety related projects, friendly conversations/visits. Build a rapport and create a new friendship while helping a senior maintain their independence!
