Position: Airport welcome & transportation
Program Area: Refugee Resettlement & Placement
Location: In-person
Schedule: Flexible, airport pickups could be scheduled any time during daytime, evening, or
nighttime.
Position Summary: Welcome our refugees to Portland and use your car to provide necessary
transportation from PDX Airport to their house or hotel. You will be the first person who
welcomes them to their new home. Volunteers should have 48 hours or more of notice for
airport arrivals and can select times that work for them. They will be joined at the airport by
program staff.
Qualifications:
* Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination
* Valid driver’s license and insurance
* Pass a criminal background check
Age Requirement: 18 and older
