We are seeking to assemble a volunteer team who can be proactive about selling items from our Rescue Store to online platforms, including: Facebook marketplace, Etsy, and Poshmark.
Famous Fido Rescue & Adoption Alliance is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that helps cats and dogs who would otherwise be at high risk of euthanasia. Funds raised from this project help provide food, housing, and medical care to the animals in center, and helps provide aid to community members with their pets as well, ultimately saving many more from ever going to a shelter to begin with.
You'll be tasked with posting items online, arranging shipping or pick up times, and acquiring new items. The store is filled with donated goods, including: housewares, decor, art, collectibles, sports memorabilia, women's clothing, jewelry, and accessories.

We want to help make Chicago a model "NO KILL" city where every adoptable companion animal can find a good home. And by doing so, help influence the way other cities care for their companion animals. We passionately believe it can - and must - be done. We believe that responsible stewardship of Chicago land's companion animals is an imperative. And that it can happen if we all work together with this common goal.
Description
If you love dogs and /or cats and are interested in helping in any way, we are constantly looking for volunteers to help us here at the rescue. Dog Walkers, Cuddlers, Bookkeeping, Social Media, Administrative, Kennel Help, and Animal Advocates to help Network/Sponsor Animals.
Must be 17 years or older.
