Virtual Opportunity
Famous Fido Rescue is gearing up to host its annual gala event, the Celebration of LIfe on January 20, 2024, and we need some help! We are building a team who can do outreach for Silent Auction items. We have a letter prepared, we just need people to distribute it and coordinate with businesses to donate items for the auction - which are tax deductible. The event itself helps raise awareness for animal causes from all over the world, and we are raising funds to support the needs of the approximately130 cats and dogs on site at our rescue, and in our intervention program. All funds are used for food, housing, and vet care. Volunteers will need to be comfortable with emailing and phone calls if necessary. You'll need to stay in contact with the rescue and document items you have procured for the event.
