Famous Fido is looking for a dedicated volunteer to help manage our website. We need a skilled web designer that can work with our current site to update it and keep it running smoothly. You will need to keep the site up to date with new events, animals for adoption, and blog posts. We want to have an easy to use, beautiful website to encourage people to learn more about Famous Fido and donate. About us: Famous Fido is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pets euthanized each year through our adoption program, community education, and promotion of spaying and neutering. We also advocate for legislation and ordinance changes to secure rights for all animals. We receive no federal or state funding and rely solely on community donations, fundraising events, and volunteers to support our operations and care for the animals. Tired of sitting in your office cubicle and running on autopilot? Maybe some kitty cuddles could help brighten up your days! At Famous Fido Rescue, every day is different. We meet several new cats every week - each who have come from situations of abuse, abandonment, trauma, and neglect, and many who have suffered from illness or injury and desperately need some extra TLC. That's where you come in! At present our cat attendant team is small but is growing! We need individuals who can commit to at least 3 hours a week. This includes cleaning the rooms of the cats, changing their litterboxes, and preparing their meals. In between, we have no issues with you cuddling and loving n the cats. After all, they need that too! What we ideally want is people who can come in during the week (but if you're only available on the weekend, that's okay too!) Our cat volunteer team are needed between 9am and 3pm every day. We are flexible with the hours you come in, and days - but advance notice of when you will be in and when you won't is always appreciated. We need to know that a team will be here every day caring for the cats. If that sounds good to you, and you're ready to get started, please inquire now!
