Yolo Hospice/YoloCares/Citizens Who Care

Have you shared your life experiences to help others? Are you someone who is 55+ and looking to help others of a similar age? If so, we want your expertise as aging can be challenging even for individuals with the biggest support systems. At YoloCares the Senior Peer Counseling (SPC) Program works to ensure that no one 60 years old or older will have to navigate those challenges alone.

Senior Peer Counseling is a program that commits to serving older adults and caregivers in Yolo County by providing one-on-one peer support for one hour weekly. Our Senior Peer Counselors act as mentors, advocates, and expert listeners. SPCs use their own life experiences as an avenue to help others cope with their own challenges.

Locations may vary depending on where your client lives, we serve Yolo County which includes Woodland, Davis, West Sacramento, Winters, Esparto, Clarksburg, Dunnigan, Madison, Brooks, and Monument Hills.
