As a Facility Activities Volunteer, you'll play a vital role in bringing comfort, happiness, and companionship to those who need it most. Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept: * Work alongside our caring team to plan and lead engaging activities and events tailored to the unique needs of seniors in memory care. * Be a ray of sunshine in our residents' lives, offering companionship, encouragement, and a listening ear. * Help set up and create inviting spaces for activities, ensuring safety and comfort for our seniors. * Support our activity leaders and volunteers in delivering meaningful experiences that spark memories and foster connections. * Assist with organizing supplies, keeping track of inventory, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Galileo Place, our vibrant adult day program, is seeking compassionate volunteers to lead art and music classes for our wonderful community of seniors. Thanks to the generous support of the Thomas P Raley Foundation, we have the opportunity to expand our creative program and bring more joy to the lives of our seniors.
