The Harbor Dish is a mobile community cafe and is a 501(c)3 created in 2013 to serve the Safety Harbor, FL area. Harbor dish creates delicious food in an environment where individuals needing a helping hand can dine with dignity. We have established a network of community-minded people who have built a caring community that utilizes local farmers, businesses and volunteers to enrich the lives of our patrons and reduce food waste.

The Harbor Dish is a cooking organization that relies completely on dedicated volunteers. Because of covid, our operation has turned into a seven day a week organization, helping those in our community.

On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays (mornings) and Sundays (at noon) we sort food from donations that we receive. We are in need of more food sorters for these days.


Specific times for Tuesdays and Wednesdays are 9:00am-10:30am, Saturdays from 9am-10:30am and Sundays from noon-1:30pm.

If this is something you would like to be a part of, please contact us so we can get you started. We are looking to have a rotation of people on these days. This is the perfect opportunity for you to volunteer as a family. Also, if you are a student, you can use these volunteer hours toward your Bright Future hours.
