Every year, multiple children are placed in foster care in our community. As an advocate you will be trained on how to support, guide, and make recommendations for the best interest of the children you are assigned to, ensuring that they receive a safe and permanent home as soon as possible.

Mission Statement
To strive to provide a voice and programs for the protection, care and welfare of all children in need. The program was established in the Sixth Judicial District of Wyoming because abused and neglected children are at risk of becoming lost in the court and social services systems designed to protect them. The VAC serves children adjudged by the court to be in need of supervision, abused, neglected or otherwise in need of advocacy in the Sixth Judicial District Court of Wyoming. VAC will recruit, screen, train and supervise community volunteers to serve as advocates for children in the Sixth Judicial District of Wyoming.
