Our program is hitting the ground running by packing and delivering 4,400 bags of food to students struggling with food and housing insecurity over the weekend.
WE NEED YOUR HELP! So sign up to become a Backpack Brigade delivery driver Thursday mornings during the school year.
Every Thursday morning, more than 50 volunteers arrive in their own cars, seats down and covered, to take our bags to one, two or three of the 96 schools we serve. Our loaders handle all the lifting. You'll open the trunk, get a clipboard with your route and head out.
Every driver starts and ends their route at our warehouse on 1st Ave. in the SODO district of Seattle.
Shift time: Thursday mornings. Arrival 8:30AM to 10:30AM, total time no more than 2 hours.
Location: 1729 1st Ave S. Seattle, WA 98134
How to volunteer? Just click "Respond" and we'll get you on the roster. Join our amazing community delivering hope and help us END weekend hunger!
You are not signed up until you have a specific confirmation from Nichelle Hilton.
