Kindred Hospice is seeking kind, compassionate individuals to become part of our team. Our Volunteers serve a very important role in our patients final journey. We are looking for volunteers who enjoy giving of themselves and their time to our patients. As a team member you will visit with patients in facilities and in the community to provide support, comfort and companionship to the patient and their care giver.

We also have volunteer opportunities were you can perform administrative tasks in our Fall River office. This might include, clerical support, mailings, cards, and/or crafts.

We encourage Veterans and individuals who speak a second language to apply.

Kindred Hospice follows all recommended CDC protocols. All Volunteers must show proof of vaccination and Booster.

Description

Kindred Hospice affirms the concept of palliative care as an intensive program that enhances comfort and promotes the quality of life for individuals and famillies. Hospice does not shorten or prolong life. Hospice focuses on comfort not on curing an illness. When a cure is no longer possible, hospice recognizes that a peaceful and comfortable death becomes the essential goal of healthcare. Hospice recognizes that death is in integral part of the life cycleand that intensive palliative care focus of pain relief, comfort, and enhanced quality of life as appropriate goals for the terminally ill.
