Heartland Hospice is looking for vigil volunteers. They are available to give support to family members who need a break from the bedside of the loved one during the dying process.
Being a vigil volunteer is an as needed position and at times can be a last-minute need. Most vigil volunteer also are companionship volunteers
There is some experience needed. Vigil volunteers go through additional training.
