I'RAISE Girls and Boys International Corporation is looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and outgoing volunteer Visual Art Instructor to teach children onsite at PS 178 in Brooklyn, NY.

The Visual Art Instructor is responsible for:
- Teaching art to children of Ages 5-13 years
- Helping children draw from their own personal experiences as inspiration for their work
- Assisting Art Instructor in developing lesson plan & curriculum for the virtual art class
- Maintaining two way and ongoing communication with parents and organization supervisors
- Preparing students for a performance during the end of semester showcase
- Maintaining attendance of each class taught and written progress of each student

Requirements:
- Available for a minimum of 4 hours a week.
- Has worked with children before.


1 Shift

  • afternoon / 02:30 PM to 04:45 PM
