Virtues Project International Association (VPIA) is a Canadian non profit organization registered in 2013. We are a group of dedicated volunteers from around the world striving to advance The Virtues Project by building a strong organization to support our mission; partnering with like-minded organizations; strengthening, uniting and supporting our grassroots global community of facilitators; and by offering The Virtues Project products and services.
Purpose: To sustain the integrity and growth of The Virtues Project.
Vision: A world where virtues are valued, acknowledged and practiced.
Mission: Inspiring the practice of virtues in homes, schools, workplaces and communities, with five simple strategies.
We are looking for a HR Admin, to handle the following responsibilities:
- Screening telephone calls, scheduling interviews and conducting research to locate potential job candidates
- Searching resumes and assisting with planning new employee orientations
- Compiling materials and maintaining employee database records
- Support with development of HR policies and guidelines
This position will serve at the direction of the HR Team Lead
We are looking for someone who has the following qualities:
1) Integrity, commitment, tact, passion and diligence
2) Able to work with teams and independently
3) Excellent English communication skills - written and spoken
4) Willing to learn and grow
Experience / Skills
1) One (1) to three (3) years experience working as a Recruiter, HR Generalist, Coordinator or Administrator is considered an asset especially in a Volunteer organisation
2) Previous experience dealing with people, clients or customers

The Virtues Project empowers individuals to live more authentic meaningful lives, families to raise children of compassion and integrity, educators to create safe, caring, and high performing learning communities, and leaders to encourage excellence and ethics in the work place. It has inspired and mobilized people worldwide to commit acts of service and generosity, to heal violence with virtues.
The Five Virtues Strategies of The Virtues Project awaken the gifts of character, through inspiring programs, books, and materials that help us to remember who we really are and to live by our highest values.
