McLaren Hospice is in search of individuals who are crafty and wish to share their creations with our hospice patients.
We would like to work with individuals or groups that love to crochet, knit, sew or quilt such things as: blankets, shawls, hand pillows, hats, booties and pillows.
We are also looking for people who love scrapbooking, Cricut designs, making cards, holiday decorations and other crafts for our hospice patients.
We are in particular need of patriotic blankets for U.S. Military veterans patients.
If you are a member of a group that does this type of thing or simply enjoy doing this on your own and would like to donate creations to our patients, please contact Melanie Steinhauser at melanie.steinhauser@mclaren.org.
There is not a better way to let someone know that they are cared about than to give them a personal hand crafted gift or surprise!
