Arts in CT is seeking members to be part of our New Haven Planning Committee to help plan events for children’s talent search and three round performances for the summer.

We are looking for people who would like to help plan this event for the entire city of New Haven. We need marketing, publicity, admin, fundraisers, graphic designers, grant writers and videographers. This three round event helps children get on stage for music, theater, dance and art. Students take over the town in showcasing their talent.

The role requires to be hands-on from the planning stage to the actual events, including marketing, bringing in talents, event management, cooperating with other volunteers, and any other ad hoc tasks related to the execution of the planned events.

Qualifications

• Experience in event planning is an advantage
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Have a positive and 'can do’ attitude
• Do fundraiser so children can obtain prizes
• Send out Press Releases
• Send out donor letters
• Create flyers and videos
