Internship - Helping HANDS Program
Intern will help prepare agendas, minutes, reports and presentations. Intern will attend Forensic Intensive Case Management staff meetings and Helping HANDS staff meetings. Intern will become familiar with the Polk County Sequential Intercept Map (SIM). Intern may shadow staff on visits to the jail or ride- along with Community Paramedic and/or Peer Specialists and should be prepared to encounter individuals with mental illness and substance abuse disorders. Intern must agree to confidentiality rules related to HIPPA protected information.
