One Community is an all-volunteer nonprofit think tank creating open source plans for all aspects of sustainability. Here is the overview of our project: https://www.onecommunityglobal.org/overview

We're seeking 1-2 exceptional researchers and writers with 10+ hours a week to help with research for an open source sustainability tutorial covering the most sustainable door and window manufacturers in the world. We'll use this research to make purchasing decisions as part of our 7-ecovillage construction project: www.onecommunityglobal.org/highest-good-housing/

We'll also be publishing the research as an open source tutorial like this to promote the best-of-the-best in support of global sustainability: https://www.onecommunityglobal.org/most-sustainable-flooring-materials/ and this: https://www.onecommunityglobal.org/most-sustainable-paints-stains-varnish-sealers/

If you'd like expertise in understanding and evaluating what makes a company sustainable, and the specifics of sustainably manufacturing doors and windows as part of the construction industry, then this is a good volunteer opportunity for you.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 10 hours a week to volunteer
• Minimum of 2 months availability
• A passion for sustainability
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Excellent communication and accountability
