One Community Global is working with people around the world to build a model of sustainability. Our team is looking for volunteers to help with data entry to convert existing recipes into recipe cards using Google Sheets. Once properly formatted and entered, these recipe cards will then be able to generate customizable shopping lists for remote implementation as part of humanitarian projects.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Must have basic Excel/Google Sheet data entry experience
- Must be available for a minimum of 10 hours a week and for at least 2 months
- Must be self-motivated and comfortable working in a virtual environment
- Relevant recipe knowledge and basic cooking skills a plus but not required
WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT
We are creating open source menus for remote construction of eco-villages, humanitarian aid, and any other situation where people need high-quality food that can be prepared affordably, in large quantities, and with very little waste. We will use these menus in a rotating basis while constructing the 7 sustainable village models described here: www.onecommunityglobal.org/highest-good-housing/
