Our Mechanical Engineer Lead is seeking help designing and modeling the plumbing necessary to store and distribute water in this open source net-zero water-recycling bathroom: https://www.onecommunityglobal.org/water-recycling-net-zero-bathroom-design/
REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN TEAM
- 10+ hours a week availability for at least 2 months
- Plumbing Drafting experience
- AutoCAD proficiency and software
- Excellent accountability and ability to work efficiently virtually/at-home
Your help is needed for the designs of the system that moves the blackwater from the facility to a septic, rainwater overflow to additional storage and from that storage back into the structure, etc. Designs need to meet California code while minimizing costs and optimizing DIY-replicability.
