Cancer Support agency needs assistance at its East side Warehouse (4911 Commerce Parkway in Warrensville Heights) and Westside Warehouse (25425 Center Ridge Road).

Throughout the year fine furniture, antiques, costume jewelry and home collectibles are donated to the Warehouse. Sales are held 4-8 times a year. All proceeds generated from the important work of our sales help support the free programs and services provided to individuals and families impacted by cancer. Our dedicated retail volunteers do a variety of tasks in our warehouse from assisting with sales, display, publicity and clerical assignments. Training is provided on the job and volunteers are scheduled according to the size of the sale.

Primary Duties:

· Prepare donated goods for sale, including receiving, sorting , pricing, displaying and selling.

· Answer customer enquiries and advise and help them with their purchases.

· Ensure a high level of stock control, creating attractive shop floor displays.

· Assist with handling of payments (both cash and credit).

· Effectively work with other staff and volunteers in-store to ensure we are all working towards the same goals.

· Ensure that the shop premises are well maintained and remain: fresh, clean, tidy and a safe environment for our customers, volunteers and staff.
