Chronic Warriors Org offers VIRTUAL volunteer opportunities for high school students across Florida who need community service hours to qualify for a Bright Futures Scholarship and/or a community project for their American Government class.

We are seeking an assistant volunteer coordinator to motivate/encourage/monitor our student volunteer crew!
This person will be responsible for messaging the students, making sure they hit their deadlines, checking completed tasks and hours logs, and managing spreadsheets.

Must love teens and have lots of patience! :) This position can often feel like "herding cats", but the teens are really wonderful and it's fun to teach them how to send snail mail and have them know the good they are doing in the lives of those who are isolated, ill and alone.

Description

Snail mail is our jam! We facilitate the sending of cards full of hope and encouragement to patients (we call them warriors;) across the USA and around the globe! We do this primarily via our cards2warriors program and the Warrior Card Swap.

Additionally, we provide virtual volunteer opportunities for employee teams, high school students across Florida, illness warriors who are seeking purpose, and kids/teens/adults who loves to color and make cards! :)
