  • 3 people are interested

Cultural networking is a type of networking where the goal is to learn about the unique perspectives and situations of other people in the world. Culture can refer to personality, nationality, beliefs, lived experience, or pretty much anything that differentiates us from each other.

By engaging in cultural networking, we can boost empathy, understanding, and the ability for people to cooperate to tackle the worlds challenges.

Acquaint ( is a community of volunteers that engage in cultural networking to raise global awareness and overcome toxic divisions in the world. The Acquaint platform does the work of connecting you with a partner to learn from each other using fun virtual icebreakers to inspire conversation. All you need to do is show up, challenge yourself to listen/learn, and appreciate your cultural networking partner.

Mission Statement

Acquaint is a nonprofit platform where people around the world grow and learn through human connections.

Acquaint is a community of people across all walks of life who grow and learn together through authentic human connections. The program is powered by volunteers who take the time and effort to give back by sharing stories and getting to know one another.

A series of virtual experiences on our platform serve as icebreakers, displaying images and fun facts that make conversation easier. Members volunteer on their own time from any location with an internet connection, making it a convenient way to give back. Connecting authentically with others is an inherent act of good. Only a collective effort made by individuals across generations and cultures can succeed in bringing the world closer together and healing divisions.
