Spring Reins of Life - Horses, Humans & Healing

Video Editing Guru Needed to Sustain the Herd at Spring Reins of Life/Hope NOW!

Covid19NJ shut our business down hard for 17 months. We have worked very hard to return providing sincere healing for trauma survivors in New Jersey. While we have begun to see groups of clients again it has not been the same and we are finding that it is imperative to supplement income in order to care for our award winning service animals that produce miracles for people who are suffering. During the shutdown we started a virtual business (a subsidiary of Spring Reins of Hope llc) called NJ Virtual Herd. As a part of that endeavor we began creating candid videos of our barn life/ farm life behind the scenes with our furry colleagues.

There is a lot of footage that needs editing to become the stories that we have to tell. NJ Virtual Herd has a channel on Rumble and Youtube and our goal is to gather enough following to monetize. Goal is not to become famous internet stars as most would have it. Our goal is to channel enough funds to cover our living expenses during the winter months (or when programming is slow) in order to buy Hay! Because, horses do eat like horses.

If you have excellent video editing skills and can work quickly, we need you on our team and in our Herd. Most of our videos average 10-20 minutes in length with simple footage edits to join together in the right order, adding in still pictures if applicable, and also music / text. We have a gsuite drive to upload the raw footage clips and other media where it can be used for editing and then a final uploaded to this same drive.

This is an urgent request for help. We need one (1) really talented and enthusiastic video editing guru to help us catch up and then continue to help us put out one (1) video per week.

Please and Thank You.

About Spring Reins of Life - Horses, Humans & Healing

Location:

c/o: Hunt Cap Farms, 401 Main Street, Three Bridges, NJ 08887, US

Mission Statement

Spring Reins of Life (Horses, Humans & Healing)'s MISSION is to provide a safe, healing and empowered path to peace, positive growth and self-guided recovery with the assistance of Horses as our guides for trauma survivors who do not want to, refuse to, or simply cannot "talk about it". We serve combat veterans, at risk teens & young bereaved children in New Jersey.

Description

Spring Reins of Life (SRoL) is a non-profit 501c3 organization. We are an EAGALA Model program offering Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) and Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) which incorporates the use of horses for therapeutic intervention toward promoting emotional growth and healing. We do not offer any riding or mounted work in our program. While there are many benefits to horseback riding, the EAGALA model is a solution focused base that enhances the emotional benefits of behavioral rehearsal and experiential component that is displayed when observing the horses in free will interacting with clients. The core populations that we serve are combat veterans, at risk/high risk teens & young children with grief.

Animal assisted therapy with horses combines the positive emotional effects gained from the human/horse bond with opportunities to challenge and explore one's thoughts and internal struggles during activities with an equine partner. It is a therapeutic intervention that defeats the stigma often associated with traditional counseling, but more importantly, it is an intervention that works.

***Visitors and Volunteers Welcome! We do have a strict policy of keeping all visits to a scheduled appointment or meeting time. No walk-ins are allowed, this is for your safety, the safety of the horses and the farm. Thank you for understanding.
