Do you want to have fun, meet new people and want to be a part of a cause to help those in need in Tucson? Do you have a knack for photography, merchandising, brand recognition, or researching items for sale? Do you enjoy the thrill of finding a unique item? If so, we have a place for you!
Our member volunteers are passionate about raising money for our programs. Our thrift shop is
voted Best of Tucson for many years.
Assistance League of Tucson is a non profit In Tucson established in 1959. Our online and thrift store are the main source of revenue for our programs. You can socially distance and work on getting items online. We provide training and assistance. No minimum hours required. We have opportunities from Tuesday-Saturday.

Description
Assistance League (r) of Tucson is a nonpolitical, nonsectarian, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit corporation that is managed and staffed by volunteers who are dedicated to working to improve the lives of those in need in the Tucson area. Our more than 300 volunteers donate over 50,000 hours annually serving our community through our philanthropic programs.
Assistance League of Tucson’s programs are funded by sales from our thrift shop and by grants, gifts, and donations. All our revenues remain in the Tucson area and are used solely to support our local philanthropic endeavors. Through our programs, our member volunteers help those in need find better, more meaningful lives by addressing the physical and emotional needs of children and adults of all ages, regardless of race or creed. Our largest program is Operation School Bell, where we will dress 5,000 children with brand new school clothes and shoes. We also have programs for literacy, homelessness, offering comfort with Teddy Bears, helping Assault Survivors and recycling goods.
