Volunteer Positions
As a volunteer, you will make a difference in your community while gaining valuable experience in a health care setting. We have positions available at Regions Hospital in St. Paul and at HealthPartners Clinics throughout the Twin Cities. We require volunteers to attend a minimum of one shift per week. Shifts are between two and four hours depending on the department. Take a look at some of our offerings below
Minimum requirement of 100 hours or 6 months of service at one shift a week.
At Regions Hospital
- Breast Health Care Center (16+) (weekdays 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.)
- Burn Center (18+) (weekday evening)
- Cancer Care Center (18+) (weekdays 8 a.m.. - 4 p.m.)
- Guest Experience Escort (15+) (flexible scheduling; weekdays, evenings, weekends)
- Materials Service Courier (15+) (weekdays 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.)
- Music Volunteer (15+) (flexible self-scheduling)
- Pathology Lab (18+) (weekdays 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.)
- Pet Therapy (18+) (various shifts available seven days a week)
- Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (18+) (weekday evening)
- Radiation Therapy (18+) (Tuesday or Thursday 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.)
- Regions Physical Therapy/Capitol View Transitional Care Physical Therapy (16+)
- South 11 Nursing Unit (18+) (weekday/weekend evenings)
- Surgery Center Assistant (18+) (weekdays 7 a.m. - 2 p.m.)
- Surgery Center Greeter (18+) (weekdays and evenings)
At HealthPartners Clinics
- Center for Memory and Aging (18+) - Neuroscience Center (weekdays, 12 hour/week commitment)
- Digestive Care (16+) - Specialty Center 435 Phalen Blvd (weekdays 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.)
- Lobby Concierge (15+) - Specialty Centers 401 and 435 Phalen Blvd and Neuroscience Center (weekdays 8 a. m. - 5 p.m.)
- Rehab/Physical Therapy (16+) - Neuroscience Center / 401 Phalen Blvd. (weekdays 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.)
- Same Day Surgery Greeter and Assistant (18+) Specialty Center 435 Phalen Blvd. (weekdays 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.)

Mission Statement
RSVP offers maximum flexibility for people 55 and over who want to find challenging, rewarding, and significant service opportunities in their communities. RSVP Volunteers work with local organizations to have impact on critical needs in several focus areas: literacy, housing, food security, independence and well-being for seniors and persons with disabilities, economic opportunity, and service to veterans and military personnel and their families. We give volunteers the flexibility to decide who and how frequently they serve and we support volunteers with placement assistance, free supplemental insurance, and other benefits.
