Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity you can do from the comfort and safety of your home? Please consider volunteering your time to help our students get back on track! Volunteer In Paradise (VIP) is an award winning program. PVSchools is the first school district in Arizona with a program certified by Points of Light. We provide you with training to be an effective and confident tutor. By giving just a couple of hours a week (either in person or online) you will meet new friends while working alongside other outstanding volunteers and you will team with our amazing teachers to help our students experience success. Mission Statement

The mission of the Volunteer in Paradise program in the Paradise Valley Unified School District is to increase student achievement by providing instructional assistance and the individual attention of dedicated, high-quality volunteers while also promoting positive school and community partnerships.

Description

VIP volunteers provide one-on-one and small group instruction on campus and online to children in grades K-8. Volunteers are paired with teachers based on their interests and schedules, and receive the training needed to become effective, confident tutors.
