The mission of the Volunteer in Paradise program in the Paradise Valley Unified School District is to increase student achievement by providing instructional assistance and the individual attention of dedicated, high-quality volunteers while also promoting positive school and community partnerships.

Description

VIP volunteers provide one-on-one and small group instruction on campus and online to children in grades K-8. Volunteers are paired with teachers based on their interests and schedules, and receive the training needed to become effective, confident tutors.

The VIP program at Paradise Valley School District is an excellent opportunity to help students learn. The students are well behaved and love the additional help. The teachers are well prepared and easy to work with. The program coordinator is extremely helpful.
