Do you enjoy walking? We are looking for volunteers to help transport residents from their rooms to onsite physical therapy appointments via wheelchair. No driving is required for this opportunity. Shifts are available weekday mornings from 9 am to 12 pm.

You’ll get your steps in and make new friends while having a positive impact on the health and well-being of our residents. A volunteer coordinator will help you with the onboarding process, including a DHS background screen.

Description

Lyngblomsten provides compassionate care to older adults through residential and community services. Volunteers of all ages are welcomed to explore over 100 unique and varied opportunities. While short-term options may be available periodically, we encourage longer-term commitments given the exceptional level of orientation, training and on-going education Lyngblomsten provides in support of its volunteers.
