Org, we grant you every opportunity to further develop your skill sets, cross-train, lead and excel
within your chosen vocation. This is a volunteer position, however, it will give you valuable work
experience while helping to further our efforts of helping victims of abuse.

Company Description: Abuse Refuge Org (ARO) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3). We focus our best efforts and practices to assist and help those abused by aiding in 10 major areas of abuse to include: Sexual, Physical, Narcissistic, Psychological, Financial, Bullying, Spousal, Cyber, Child, and Self-abuse.
**This is an unpaid volunteer position

Supervisory Responsibilities:
● Oversee a team of Administrative Assistants

Responsibilities And What You Will Do

● Attend ARO Management Calls weekly and Bi-Weekly Company calls
● Work one on one as necessary with Team Members and Managers
● Provides high-level administrative support and assistance to the Executive Director
and/or other assigned leadership staff.
● Performs clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, invoices,
reports, and other documents for senior staff.
● Schedules and attends meetings, taking notes and recording minutes.
● Receives incoming communication or memos on behalf of senior staff, reviews contents and determines importance, and summarizes and/or distributes contents to appropriate
● Performs office tasks including maintaining records, ordering supplies, and performing
basic bookkeeping.
● Performs additional duties as assigned by executives.
● Trains Administrative and Executive Assistants
● Other tasks as needed

Education and Requirements

● Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
● Be available to volunteer 15+ hours a week.
● Experience in a supervisory role.
● Possess a collaborative way of working.
● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Behave professionally in manner and appearance.
● Be consistently organized and flexible.
● Be a team player with demonstrated experience working with multiple groups or
● Competent proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
