Responsibilities And What You Will Do: Oversee a team of Social Media Coordinators and Specialists Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences Design and implement social media strategies to align with business goals Set specific objectives Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news) working with other agencies Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics. Collaborate with other teams regularly to ensure brand consistency with posts Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout) and collaborate with NED and Graphic Design Department Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications Work with team utilizing Asana platform and ensuring tasks/campaigns/posts that are assigned are completed by the due date Respond to NED’s requests in a timely fashion Attend weekly mandatory management meeting and schedule a weekly meeting with team to relay talking points from NED and establish your own list to discuss Build relationships with each team member to help them feel comfortable and include as an integral part of ARO Be in regular communication with NED and when things come up to communicate matters accordingly Here’s what we’re looking for: Must be based in the United States Must be able to volunteer 15+ hours a week Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager Hands on experience in content management Excellent copywriting skills Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video) Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics Knowledge of online marketing channels Familiarity with web design Excellent communication skills Analytical and multitasking skills Experience as a Social Media Manager Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a relevant field About Abuse Refuge Org: At ARO, we are here to support your personal healing journey towards your complete well-being. Supporting the content teams to shape and fulfill the content plan by original news, features, insight and multimedia content. Online content management, editing, and uploading across websites. Growing audiences through newsletter, social media and distribution platforms. Attending weekly team meetings and biweekly all staff meetings. Other tasks as assigned by the department manager Here’s what we’re looking for: Must be available to volunteer 8-10 hours a week. Excellent writing, editing and journalistic skills with ability to produce content in a fast-paced environment. APA Citation experience is a plus. News and Educational style blogging, writing, or content creation skills. Studying for or have a University degree in Journalism, Business, Arts, or any programs providing strong English language training or candidates with strong English language skills. Experience producing and editing original content is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Passionate about creating engaging content on multiple platforms . Keen to learn, willing to work hard, maintaining productivity and committed to the job. Responsibilities And What You Will Do: Work with leadership to form effective branding and identify new social media channels for growth. Conduct research and summarize findings. Assist with Social Media posts and help with increasing our social media following. Respond to emails and Slack notifications in a timely manner. Collect, organize, and analyze opinions and data to solve problems. Explore trends relating to Social Media pages and introduce them as needed. Perform other appropriate tasks or duties as requested. Attend weekly department meetings and biweekly all staff meetings. Here’s what we’re looking for: Available to work 8-10 hours/week (schedule may fluctuate and is flexible) Be a self-starter with excellent time management skills. Possess a collaborative way of working. Behave professionally in manner and appearance. Be consistently organized and flexible. A team player with demonstrated experience working well with others. Competent experience in social media platforms and research. Ability to anticipate and critically think through problems.
