Join this very special project and enjoy a day of important renovations at the Florence Fang Community Garden in The Bayview district. Florence Fang Community Garden, the largest community farm and second largest urban farm in San Francisco, has partnered with Habitat to improve their infrastructure to allow them to double their food distribution capacity from 200 to 400 families. We will be building a space over 2000 square feet that will contain a concrete pad with an open shelter to ensure Florence Fang can continue to distribute food during rain and other inclement weather. This small-scale construction project will include tasks like cutting and tying rebar, framing and installing roofing. Sign up on our Volunteer Calendar to book your spot!
