Elara Caring

Making a difference one life at a time! Elara Caring Hospice is a leading care provider in Missouri and throughout the Midwest, our staff and volunteers work together to meet each patient where they are. We are currently looking for caring and compassionate volunteers to join our team and donate time to assist local hospice patients and families.

As a hairstylist you will donate time to wash, cut and style a hospice patient’s hair. In doing so your gift is more than just hair care. You will lift the spirits of those that are unable to get out of their homes to get their hair done. To someone that is unable to go to the salon, getting their hair done can be the best part of their week or month.

Appointments will be made upon request and can be scheduled at a time that is convenient to the stylist. Proof of a current license is required prior to assignment. We also have additional opportunities available. For more information, please contact Megan McGowen, Volunteer Coordinator, at 573-301-5055 or
