Our Mission: We care where you are. We focus on the patient’s quality of life, providing symptom and pain management in the comfort of their preferred setting. Elara Caring Hospice cares for the patient and provides support for their family and caregivers.

Description


Volunteers have the opportunity to serve in the following areas:
Direct Patient Care: In home, in person time via: telephone contact, art or music at bedside, companionship, household chores, respite care, life review/ life history , 11th hour volunteers, and bereavement support.
Indirect Patient Care: Home repair/improvement, yard mowing, office work/administrative assistance, answering phones, filing, assisting with patient/family mailings , and data entry
