Do you enjoy sewing? Do you want to help a grieving person? If so, please consider joining our MEMORY BEAR VOLUNTEER TEAM. We will provide volunteers with the materials and the pattern. We will support you along the way. You will meet the most amazing volunteers who share your desire to help others.

Memory Bears and Memory Pillows are made for grieving family members from cherished clothing of their loved one. For a grieving person to be able to hug the bear or pillow made from a clothing item worn by their loved one is deeply healing. Some bears might wear a special pin, earring or other item which was meaningful to the loved one who has passed. These bears are made to honor the memory of the loved one and provide a deep comfort to the grieving family members. We know how devastating the loss of a loved one is, these memory bears and pillows help in the grieving process. Agape Healthcare provides end of life care to everyone in need. We never turn anyone away based on ability to pay.

Please contact me rrolbin@agape-healthcare.com if you are interested in joining our team.

Description

Over 18 years ago, founders Larry Woods and Kim West set out to establish an organization that would create a higher standard for end-of-life care in our community. Both had experienced firsthand the deep impact hospice care can have on people’s lives and wanted to provide that opportunity for our Denver Front Range community.

They set out to build a team of staff who not only are expert in their fields, but passionate about their work. Agape provides strong support and ongoing training, fostering a culture of excellence. Our caring staff goes above and beyond, meeting patients and families where they are and providing for each ones specific needs.

A privately owned, local organization, Agape understands, loves and is invested in our Denver community and has served many thousands of local residents and families with expert whole-person care.
