Do you enjoy sharing your gifts and talents as a musician? You do not have to be a polished or professional musician or singer to serve as a volunteer. We have a great opportunity for you to play your instrument and/or sing songs to be a source of encouragement to the patients who are coming to the end of their life. Sharing your gift of music and offering companionship to our patients can make a difference and brighten their day. We want volunteering to be easy and convenient! We have several opportunities throughout western Cuyahoga county that we can assign you to serve and our schedule is flexible. You do not need specific experience or skills to offer companionship and we will provide training. Hospice is not about giving up on life; we celebrate life! We strive to enhance the quality of our patients’ days by giving comfort, peace and dignity. We would love to give you an opportunity to share your gift of music with our patients.

Description
Volunteers are valued members of the Bella Care Hospice team. You can make a difference in the lives our patients and their families while adding meaning to your own life.
Visit patients in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities and inpatient hospice homes. Volunteers donate 4-12 hours a month visiting patients. Volunteers can do a variety of activities with patients such as reading, listening, hand holding, praying, painting their fingernails, doing crafts, singing, brushing their hair, pet therapy, massage therapy and more!
