ORGANIZATION: COMMUNITY PET PROJECT INC

We deliver pet food every other weekend to those residents of Hillsborough County, FL that qualify for our assistance. Routes are throughout the county; the driver selects the route that is most convenient to them and whether they prefer to deliver on Saturday or Sunday. The food is always picked up in Seffner. Routes average one to two hours, depending on the number of stops, traffic, etc.

Routes are advertised and the delivery team communicates via the "GroupMe" app.

Volunteer must be willing to use Facebook, if only to connect with our organization.

This opportunity qualifies for service hours for students of driving age.

Our goal is to keep the pets happy, healthy and with their owners and out of the county shelter. We accomplish these goals by working with local authorities and other organizations. We rely on fundraising and donations.
