Become a contributor and volunteer with us to sort, pack, pick up & help prepare for weekly distribution. However, Do you have a specific skill set you can offer up?

Come and join a talented team to help us advocate for Food Justice and eliminate hunger in the community.
It can be a one time or on going activity.

About Refuge Food Pantry

Mission Statement

Refuge Food Pantry is a coalition of churches, organizations and individuals on mission in the Monument Corridor to end food insecurity in our neighborhood. Started by a group of neighbors in 2010 that saw a need in their community, the pantry became a ministry of Refuge Church (formerly Parkhaven Baptist) and continues to serve the Monument neighborhood today.

Description

As an Agency Partner with The Food Bank of Contra Costa & Solano, we are in the fight to end hunger. In 2020, the number of households the pantry serves has grown exponentially. Originally providing 200 supplemental meals/week pre-COVID-19, we now distribute upwards of 2000 supplemental meals/week!

As a Coalition of Communities on a mission to serve the Monument, we are constantly coming up with new ways to expand our support and advocacy
in this growing neighborhood.
