Host a Hygiene Drive for our Drop-in Center and Youth Shelter

Pathfinders serve youth ages 6 to 25 years who are often accessing our services in need of basic hygiene items. We feel all people deserve the right to have access to these basic items to lead healthy, independent lives.

If you or your group are able to host a drive for hygiene items, please respond to this post and our Volunteer and Community Engagement Manager will reach out with next steps and updates regarding what items are in highest need right now.

Items that are often in high need year-round are:

  • Men's boxers/women's underwear (any size)
  • Razors
  • Socks
  • Deodorant/body wipes
  • Body wash (men & women's)
  • Lotion
  • Diva cups/feminine pads
  • Carmex Lip Balm
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste
  • Pre-loaded bus card or $5 fast-food gift card (many youth are looking for a hot meal)
  • Backpack/tote bag/drawstring bag to hold hygiene kit items

It is greatly appreciated if volunteers can pack these items into draw-string backpacks. Otherwise, large Ziplocs also work. Thank you for your support of our young people!

Pathfinders empowers youth and young adults by providing them with emotional support, resources for basic needs and tangible tools for a fresh start. Services include:

  • An eight bed youth shelter.
  • Counseling services.
  • A drop-in center that provides case management, job support, food, laundry, shower facilities, as well as health and risk reduction resources.
  • A middle school behavioral alternative public school.
