ElderHelp is a local nonprofit organization that supports seniors all year long, and with a special gift in December! ElderHelp's Holiday Angels program delivers warmth and joy to approximately 300 seniors who receive a festive plant, gift card and a handmade card. For many seniors, this is the only gift they will receive. You can help by making holiday cards to remind seniors that they are thought of and appreciated this season!
Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes
Making the Cards: The cards work best if made on card stock or construction paper, folded in half. They ask for general holiday messages like "Happy Holidays" or "Season's Greetings." Drawings or cute jokes are welcomed!
Mailing the Cards: Please mail the cards to:

Please write "Holiday Angels Cards" on the envelope that you mail in.
Deadline: They ask that the cards be mailed by the last week in November so they have enough time to prepare the gifts before delivery.

Description
ElderHelp has been supporting seniors in the San Diego community for over 50 years. Our team of staff and volunteers are dedicated to improving the health, safety and overall well-being of our clients. Volunteers are a critical part of our team, making a difference in the lives of seniors each and every day.
We support seniors with pantry deliveries, rides to medical related appointments, assistance with grocery shopping, home office help, minor home repairs, friendly visits, and more. As we continue to see an increased need for services, we are actively recruiting volunteers. Please consider joining our team today!
