The Garden Green Project, a produce garden benefitting the food pantry, is currently in the planning and preparatory phase, currently. In the early spring of 2022 we hope we to do the first planting of the garden. The garden will be located on the campus of the pantry. Volunteers are needed for planting, watering, weeding, and harvesting.
The pantry also has a small interior courtyard garden for herbs and produce. 2021 was the first growing season of the courtyard garden. Volunteers are also needed for this garden as well. Early spring 2022.
100% of the produce and herbs from both gardens will be distributed to our food pantry clients.

The mission of Ritenour Co-Care Food Pantry is to relieve toxic stress of food insecurity for those living in the boundaries of Ritenour School District.
Description
Founded in 1982, the food pantry has evolved into a quickly growing organization feeding, currently serving over 300 households/week. The pantry is all volunteer run.
