Ritenour Co-Care Food Pantry needs drivers and driver helpers to use the pantry trucks to pick up food from stores around the community. No CDL required, background check and driving record check will be done on all driver applicants, valid driver's license required to be on file at the pantry. Food pick ups are weekly on M, T, W, F 8:30am - 1pm. Use of hydraulic hand operated pallet jack and hydraulic Tommy Lift on the pantry trucks required. Some heavy lifting involved.

The Intake Volunteer greets each pantry patron, engages each patron in friendly conversation, gathers demographic information and enters the information into the patron database using an ipad, and schedules patron shopping appointments for the next month. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are not required but are most helpful to our Latinx patrons. Masks are required for all volunteers and patrons. The Intake Volunteer also interacts with the volunteers working in the pantry. A team of approximately 15 volunteers/day operate the actual pantry, the receiving area, business office and administration.

The Ritenour Co-Care Food Pantry is a 100% volunteer non-profit organization. We are looking for a volunteer inventory coordinator who will be responsible for keeping our coolers, freezers and shelves stocked during our hours of operation, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Our food pantry is currently offering in-store shopping for our clients, so we need a volunteer to keep everything stocked while our clients are shopping in our pantry. We are open Monday, Wednesday (day shift), Wednesday (evening shift 5-7PM) & Friday, closed on Tuesday and Thursday.

The Volunteer Executive Director of the Ritenour Co-Care Food Pantry ("RCCFP"), under the direction of the Board of Directors, provides leadership, ensures fiscal responsibility, carries out and develops programs, and represents the agency in accordance with its values and mission. The Executive Director is responsible for management, facilitation, and operations of all programs and services. He/she will work collaboratively with the Board of Directors on the strategic plan and actualizing the mission. Job Duties & Responsibilities Board of Directors Communicate effectively with the board and provide, in a timely and accurate manner, financial and other pertinent information necessary for the board to function properly and to make informed decisions. Prepare and distribute, in conjunction with the board president, board meeting materials, including executive director’s report, at least three days in advance of each board meeting. Work collaboratively with the Board of Directors to provide leadership, financial oversight, and organizational development according to the strategic plan. Implement the strategic plan. Review, develop, and implement policies and procedures authorized and directed by the board. All other duties as assigned by the board. Financial Stewardship Assure the financial viability of RCCFP. Oversee budget preparation and monthly financial statements. Oversee the annual financial audit including the 990 return. Ensure monthly financial statements are prepared and accurately reflect RCCFP’s financial position. Assure RCCFP is operating within the approved budget. Fundraising Responsible for all aspects of fundraising and development. Engage and manage donors as RCCFP’s chief development officer. Implement and actualize an annual fundraising plan with measurable goals and quarterly measures of success. Assist with fundraising events. Develop and manage major gifts, direct mail, online solicitations and grants. Identify new funding sources including new donors, corporate funding, and grants. Public Relations Enhance RCCFP’s image and increase overall visibility throughout the community through interpersonal relationships and media outlets. This may include maintaining and developing relationships with community partners, foundations, churches, businesses, and other community entities, and planning and implementing opportunities to promote RCCFP’s story and image through various media mediums. Represent RCCFP as the spokesperson for the organization. Oversee the creation of all external communications. Operations Oversee day-to-day operations of the facility, including the pantry, client services, and volunteers. Manage the all-volunteer workforce. Assess and coordinate needed training. Professional Qualifications Strong communication skills, written and oral, with ability to communicate to a diverse audience. Experience in financial management, budgeting, and fund development. Passion for the mission. Compassion for the most vulnerable in our community. Prior experience in business, grocery management, fast food management or not-for-profit setting is preferred, but all candidates with relevant skills will be considered. Ability to organize and multi-task concurrent projects. This position requires approximately 35 volunteer hours per week. Additional Requirements Must be willing to work some weekends and evenings.
