Ashakiran A Ray of Hope is a non-profit organization that serves survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, and sexual assault all over the state of Alabama. We have a program that specifically provides 24/7 support called our "AshaLine". The AshaLine is a hotline that provides crisis intervention and support to these survivors. This line is managed entirely by our volunteer database and employees and relies on dedicated and competent volunteers to ensure its success and aid to survivors. We are currently recruiting new volunteers to help us with our AshaLine. The AshaLine can be answered in office or at ones’ home, allowing volunteers from all over the state to participate.
