We need, preferably a retiree, an Administrative Assistant 2 - 3 days per week which may turn into a part-time position at the Elese Tomlin Community Center in Groveland. This volunteer opportunity will give the applicant a chance to see if they wish to work part-time. The part-time salary would be discussed afterward. The position requires the individual to have Administrative Assistant skills of managing the President of ACSI calendar, scheduling appointments and travel details; supervising and ensuring cleanliness and organization of the community center; ensuring rules and procedures are followed; keeping track of supplies, and obtaining permission to place orders; managing the Women's Ignite Network and being the representative for women to contact. The person must enjoy working with women and will be a mentor to them.

Description

ACSI is a nonprofit 501c3 organization situated in Groveland, Florida USA. We provide various training to include programs for Single Women with Children, Youth Skills for Life that includes Job Preparation, Experiential Learning, Computer training, USCIS Citizenship classes and Entrepreneur training. We strive to eliminate food insufficiency through the Meals on Wheels Program, where we deliver hot meals to senior citizens and disabled adults in Groveland, Florida. We provide fellowship to prevent isolation among the elderly; community service project; parenting for single women with children and we engage in mission trips to provide humanitarian aid and training and development to poor and vulnerable orphans and widows overseas.
