Reiki uses healing energy to provide comfort and relaxation to patients and helps to relieve anxiety and pain. When used in conjunction with clinical interventions, it can lead to a higher quality of life and enhance patient care. Reiki Practitioners are urgently needed and must provide proof of certification.
Hackensack Meridian Hospice provides a special type of healthcare to those suffering from a life-limiting illness throughout Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, Somerset, and Union Counties. Visits are typically 1-2 hours once a week based on your schedule and within a manageable commute. Orientation is free of charge. COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations are required. Hackensack Meridian Hospice is one of the longest-running hospice programs in the region with over 30 years of proud service and commitment to the community. Our longevity reflects our excellent and sensitive care for patients including Veterans and individuals of diverse orientations, backgrounds, financial status and diagnoses. A member of the Hackensack Meridian Health network, we are a not-for-profit organization which serves patients who reside in Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, Somerset, and Union Counties. The time and talent that volunteers give helps Hackensack Meridian Hospice provide compassionate and quality care to our patients and families.
