Since 2003, Macy’s has donated over $137 million and granted over 16,200 wishes through BELIEVE and other fundraising campaigns.
What Is Believe?
* Believe is based on the New York Sun’s famous "Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus" editorial
* Macy’s invites believers of all ages to send a letter online at macys.com/believe or to hand-write letters to Santa
* For each letter received online or hand-written, Macy’s will donate $1 to Make-A-Wish, up to $1 million
* Use #MacysBelieve to help promote on social media

Our volunteers are part of a nationwide network of 34,000 caring people dedicated to making wishes come true. Although it has become one of the world's most well-known charities, Make-A-Wish has maintained the grassroots fulfillment of its mission to serve children with life-threatening medical conditions. Make-A-Wish Georgia grants wishes for kids right here in Georgia, and we need volunteers throughout the state to make wishes possible in your community. Volunteers serve as wish granters, fundraisers, special events assistants and in numerous other capacities.
