Do you love working with horses? How about supporting our active military, Veterans, First Responders and their families? You don't need experience because we love to teach! This is a rewarding opportunity, whether you just need some horse time, want to learn how to care for horses, or want to give back to those that protect us. We have many different opportunities for volunteers of all levels of experience, whether it's administrative work, fundraising, working with the horses, or assisting with sessions. We host two Level 1 Orientation Trainings every month and can set something else up that will work with your schedule if needed. If you are interested in checking us out, please email volunteer@victoryride.org and we will be in touch with more information.

Mission Statement
Victory Riding Academy's mission is: Improving the quality of life of our students with equine-facilitated activities. To help the students persevere (maintain a purpose in spite of difficulty, obstacles or discouragement); Overcome (succeed in dealing with a problem or difficulty); and Conquer (to gain a victory over) any of life's challenges. Our program is offered to members of the military, veterans, police, fire, first responders and their families. Whether it's defending our country, our city or helping individuals in crisis, the men and women who perform these services and their families are often the ones who need help in the aftermath of executing their duties.
Description
Victory Riding Academy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation founded in 2010 and achieved non-profit status in June of 2012. In addition, VRA was accepted and registered as a Horses4Heroes Gold Star riding facility in October 2012. We are funded 100% by donations; no one at Victory receives a salary or any compensation.
