We are looking for someone with an accounting background to take over our AR/AP! Tasks: -Make sure all withdrawals & deposits are in QuickBooks and are under the correct classes -Run reports as needed to present to the Board of Directors -Preparing reconciliations (i.e. bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, general ledger accounts, etc.) -Prepare monthly financial reports -Establishing, documenting, and evaluating internal processes -Provide budget and forecasating -Budgeting for projects -Assist CPA as needed Inquire with any questions!

Once trained, this volunteer position can be done remotely! *Handles inside recruitment of active volunteers to fill positions -Monitors sign up sheets for Mentor/Volunteer crew balance -Creates new sign up sheets as needed and starts recruitment efforts (relays info to S.M. person for posting) -Sends Mentor text every week and when needed -Sends Volunteer text every Sunday and when needed if short or for new needs that pop up -Contacts Social Media person when a post needs to go out for extra help -Watches for weather or other issues and communicates cancellations with volunteers that are signed up/organizes posting cancellations on social media -also the person that is main contact when volunteers have to call in

Tank Cleaning Crew meets every Thursday at 3pm to approximatly 6pm to scrub the outside horse tanks. This consists of draining the water, scrubbing tanks and refilling water. We use a cart that has to be pulled around with a sump pump and shop vac, along with the cleaning supplies. You can assist every Thursday, or just one Thursday a month. Every shift helps! You will work on a crew with 1-3 other volunteers and will receive training during your shifts. An extra plus is that you get to do this task around the horses!

We are looking for someone that can help out occasionally with things like oil changes, grease all zerk fittings on equipment and general maintenance. The schedule for this is very flexible.

We have 2 landscaping positions available (or you are welcome to dabble in both if you prefer!): 1. Light Landscaping- help with weeds in front rock area of the barn, come up with ideas and manage small landscaping projects like adding flowerbeds, etc. to enhance the facility's appearance 2. Heavy Landscaping- oversee making sure fence lines are clear of weeds and trees. There are mulberry bushes and tall weeds shorting out the electric fence. Ween needed, weed eat and help w/ weed control.

Mission Statement
Victory Riding Academy's mission is: Improving the quality of life of our students with equine-facilitated activities. To help the students persevere (maintain a purpose in spite of difficulty, obstacles or discouragement); Overcome (succeed in dealing with a problem or difficulty); and Conquer (to gain a victory over) any of life's challenges. Our program is offered to members of the military, veterans, police, fire, first responders and their families. Whether it's defending our country, our city or helping individuals in crisis, the men and women who perform these services and their families are often the ones who need help in the aftermath of executing their duties.
Description
Victory Riding Academy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation founded in 2010 and achieved non-profit status in June of 2012. In addition, VRA was accepted and registered as a Horses4Heroes Gold Star riding facility in October 2012. We are funded 100% by donations; no one at Victory receives a salary or any compensation.
