About The Project
Our goal is to develop a platform that will help aspiring technologists seek out experienced mentors, who can help them carve a path to a technology career of their choice.
The platform will implement functionality to store and display mentor and mentee profiles and will provide the ability for mentees to search for and pair up with mentors of their choice. The platform will provide features for the users to manage the lifecycle of their relationship and shared content through time.
About The Role
As a backend engineer on the Dev Mentors project team, you will collaborate with product and UI leads to design and implement the backend information system APIs and database schemes.
Skillsets required:
- Experience with implementing JSON API services using JavaScript and Node.js, Rust or Java.
- Experience designing and implementing databases using Postgres and SQL.
- Experience with writing unit tests.
