Volunteering is good for you and good for our community. People, just like you, volunteer with the Red Cross every day. Red Cross volunteers are neighbors helping neighbors through emergencies like home fires and floods.
Consider one of our urgently needed volunteer opportunities:
Disaster Action Team
- Your time can mean everything to a family who has just lost their home. As a Disaster Action Team volunteer, you can provide hope and support when responding with one of our trained local teams when disasters strike.
- Giving a few hours of your time a week truly is the ultimate gift. As a Disaster Action Team volunteer, you help provide comfort and support to people displaced by fires, storms, and other emergencies - so they don’t face tough times alone.
- Disasters don’t take a break for the holidays and neither does the Red Cross. You can help ensure support is always there by volunteering. As a Disaster Action Team volunteer, you get to be a part of something bigger, making a difference when families needed it most in your community.
Help ensure families don't have to face tough times alone by lifting up the hearts of those who are unexpectedly faced with emergencies. To apply or learn more, visit: https://volunteerconnection.redcross.org/?nd=lead&h=192&p=1357515
